Copilot now available for All MS 365 Business Plans

Microsoft’s goal is to empower every person and every organisation to achieve more through Copilot, the everyday AI companion. Last week it was announced that Microsoft has made Copilot available to all business plans, but who can use it now and which subscription or software is required for this? Copilot is now available for all MS 365 Business Plans.

Copilot for Microsoft 365

Every SME can now use the AI assistant from a Microsoft 365 application such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint or Teams, for example to generate texts in Word, summarise meetings from Teams and create presentations in PowerPoint .

Tools like ChatGPT use language models, but these are now integrated into Microsoft 365 applications. Organisations no longer have to purchase multiple licenses to use Copilot. From last week companies with a subscription from Business Standard level can use Copilot from just one license. A minimal investment to explore the AI assistant.

How does Copilot work?

Employees who have activated Copilot can be helped with writing, rewriting or improving texts, creating presentations based on the content of a document, answering questions on various topics, creating summaries of meetings or generating images.

AI assistant in the workplace

With the handy AI assistant, employees spend less time searching for information, meetings run more efficiently and they spend less time processing emails.

Because there is no minimum number of licenses to purchase, it becomes easier for many companies to start with a small group, who can experience the added value for the organisation.
